ABOUT

Oblong is a platform for photographic art, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. 

The key aims of Oblong are to provide opportunities for artists, built around a community-focussed approach. We invite artists and the public to engage in dialogue and give voice to fresh perspectives within the medium of photography.

Founded in 2022 by British photographer Jonathan Lieb, Oblong was originally a permanent space with a programme that included exhibitions, artist talks, film screenings, and other events. The permanent space closed in October 2025.

Oblong is currently open to collaboration with other spaces, off-site curation and one-to-one portfolio reviews. Feel free to get in touch!
